Ok, so last weekend the girls made me go to The Mad Potter to paint pottery. I was a major whiny-butt. All afternoon the girls heard...
(For best results, read in a really whiny voice.)
"That's so girlie. Am I going to have to paint something pink?"
"I don't think I like to paint pottery."Well, you get the point.
Finally, Becca said, "You'll be there at 6 and you'll paint something. And that's that."
Ok, so I admit it. It was fun. About 10 girls went and the place was packed. We painted for nearly 3 hours. You can also take any food or beverages, which includes wine & beer, and hang out with your friends. The pottery people can fix anything you mess up and are really helpful.
And guess what! They have several shades of brown. Other colors too, including pink. As you can see from the picture above (that's my pickle & olive dish that I painted!) I did not choose pink.
Hats off to The Mad Potter!

Oooh...how spontaneous! Brown and green. What a surprise!
I didn't get a chance to look at your pottery last night because I was just astounded by your first attempt at pottery and I couldn't get my mind off it. You remember - the PINK PIG MUG. Pure Talent!!!The pickle and olive dish is very nice, also. Seriously, it is a very nice dish and will look very nice for just about any use.
Does your talent know no bounds? I am so impressed! Next time - Diva
Night! Be there. :)
