Statue of Liberty

Interestingly enough, it also seems to rain, literally not metaphorically, when I travel. I’ve decided to start posting some pictures of New York City, just for a change of pace. Guess what. It rained the first day we were there. What a surprise. As usual, I did the best I could with what was given to me.

We visited Liberty Island in the rain…or at least the rainy weather. Here is a shot of the statue and the city that I took as we rounded the island upon arrival. Here she is from the front with a really good size reference. And this is my favorite…from the back with the flag waiting patiently for something to pick it up.
