It’s happened to my family

After a "devastating" phone call, I’ve learned that it’s happened to my family. Overnight, my sister has turned into a…soccer mom.


My nephew had his first soccer game or practice or something and, like all the other moms, my sister fell into the smoked chicken trap during the practice. There was a fundraiser conveniently smoking chickens within delicious smell range of the field so my sister and all the other moms drooled themselves senseless and purchased one. She also talked incessantly about my nephew’s incredible talent at 6 and how the Columbian soccer team has already called the house wanting him to play as soon as he comes of age.

Well, that might be an exaggeration only she can appreciate.

Still, my nephew has started soccer and she does drive a minivan…and she did buy the roasted chicken.
