Ok, so some people find it rather morbid that I went to the Lexington cemetery over the weekend to take pictures...but really, there are several areas that are much more like a park than like a cemetery. It's beautiful this time of year and the blooms have only just begun.
People bring their families to hang out at the little lake and feed the ducks,
geese and swans.
There is also a
beautiful bridge that is surrounded by flower gardens.
I've got several more pictures, so stay tuned.

Hee. We used to take out of town visitors to Lake View Cemetery, which was a short walk from our apartment. Hey. We lived in Cleveland, give me a break. What else was I suppossed to do, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?? Ha. I'm sure they all thought we were a little nuts though.
Anyhow, it too was really pretty and many people would go there just to walk around, and to drop coins on John D. Rockefeller's grave, which is suppossed to bring you wealth or something. Also, the interior of Wade Chapel is all Tiffany stained glass, and its beautiful.
So you're not weird. Well, maybe you are, but not in this case anyhow. :)
Awesome! I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks cemeteries can be beautiful! Lake View does look nice.
And as for the weird...hee hee. ;)
