Friday Hiking Adventure

So this weekend was wonderfully eventful and quite cozy with all my new gear.

Did some day hiking on Friday at the Red River Gorge. We hiked Auxier Ridge, Auxier Branch, Double Arch, and Courthouse Rock.

As always at the Red River Gorge, the views were splendid. I had never been to Double Arch before. I had only seen it at the lookouts on Auxier Ridge. The view from the top of Double Arch was great and the steps going up were really cool.

And little did I know, that this would be a fantastic start to an awesome weekend.
