Spurt of Spontaneity

My goodness it is a busy life. I am so behind with blog posts, it’s not even funny.

That being said, I have been appropriately reprimanded for not posting a very important event that occurred April 24th. Yes, I already told you I am very behind with my posts.

Anyway, on April 24th I did the unthinkable…I was spontaneous. And that doesn’t come easy for me. And I liked it. It’s a long-standing joke in my family after an incident somewhere in Tennessee concerning road trip decisions that I have to plan to be spontaneous.

However, on April 24th it came easy to me. After a difficult day of final projects for a treacherous class, I was…abducted, if you will, from work by a friend at the Robinson Scholars Program and taken to a Lexington Legends baseball game.

I ate hot dogs and heckled the outfielders from the the Pepsi Party Deck with the best of them. All the while, ignoring my plans for a night of grocery shopping and calorie burning at the gym.
That's us with the most exxxxcellllent party deck host, Ben.

The spontaneity might have been short-lived, but still very noteworthy.

Note: A special thanks goes out to Katy & the Robinson Scholars Program for making this special event possible.
