As my loyal readers may recall, I'm looking forward to buying a new car (at least new to me) once I start my new job. My current car just doesn't make the mark in the professional world.
However, this car shopping stuff stinks. I only started today, with little luck, but I'm really not looking forward to more. Right now I'm interested in the Pontiac Vibe and the Subaru Outback.
I've heard great things about both cars and both meet my criteria:
1. They have paint.
2. I can have my dog and 4 people in the car.
3. Cruise control.
4. They have paint.
But the shopping is clearly not that simple and a rather tedious task. Perhaps if I were a car person I'd enjoy it more but as with just about all other shopping, it's not fun for me.
Still, I'm very excited about the idea of driving around in a "fancy" car. And yes, like my student loans, I'm still in denial that I'll actually have to pay for it. ;)
