Guess what!

I'm actually home. I'm playing on my laptop with wireless internet and my cat is curled up and purring right next to me. It's nice to be back.

It was sad when I left the dog at the farm. He kept grabbing his toys and looking at me all sad like "...but my family is gone and if you leave too, who will take care of me?" I kept trying to explain that his family would be home in a couple of hours but it didn't help. Those sad eyes and that little nose nudging a squeaky ball my way was very difficult to leave.

Now, after 14 days and as my bags of clothes sit on my bedroom floor, all I can think about is how nice it will be to sleep in my own bed, shower in my own shower, and have my cat irritated with my presence by tomorrow evening. ;)
