Gyspy Horses and the Travelers' Way

















I attended the opening of a wonderful art exhibition at the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park called


John Hockensmith traveled with the gypsies to the Appleby Fair to illustrate the gypsy culture through photography. The exhibition includes photos of horses, people and all other aspects of the nearly 300 mile journey to the fair.
