Well, now that I've graduated I think I'm experiencing life as a grown-up. Now I have a real job where they expect me to show up every day. Can you imagine??? Honestly, I've had "real jobs" before so that's not such a big deal for the purposes of this post.
However, over the last few weeks I've worked up my new budget...which for the first time in years includes "income"...and now I have grown-up like things in my budget. Health insurance, car payment, auto insurance for a car with paint, and my favorite category...which was new to me...HOK which stands for Heaven Only Knows. Cute. Really Cute.
So, as you see my new grown-up life includes a car payment. I'm not going to jinx myself and say too much yet but I'm going to make my first auto purchase...ever...this afternoon. I'm a little nervous...and a little ashamed of myself, but more on that later.
And...I'm also very excited. My car now is a 1989 and the car I'm going to make an offer on is a 2005. Man, I'll feel like a Hilton sister or something with paint, key-less entry, and this interesting thing of a "manual transmission" without a clutch. I don't know. Some new-fangled thing that I just don't get. Might be a guy thing. It can be driven as an automatic or as a manual minus the clutch. Beyond me. Just give my P, R, and D. Well, maybe an N too.

ought oh...i'm having bad thoughts about this "vehicle" purchase... i'm thinking...she's turned into a "yuppie" already... ;-)
Boy hasn't that crossed my mind. I'll have even more frightening news about that "yuppie" thing in a day or so. Stay tuned.
