This was posted in the comments with the post where I admited my shame of purchasing an SUV. I think I've got a run for my money on silly poems. Not sure about the "pay is quite awesome line" ...if that were the case I'd own a Subaru Outback! Thanks, Ron!

All that reminds me about the little ditty I wrote about my life as a frog.

Ode to a college student

There once was a college student
Who loved the outdoors
The hiking, the flowers
The smell of the spring pores

With the wonder of youth
And the soul of a tree hugger
All her friends had to wonder
If her interests would tugher

To a job that would be
Of the outdoors type you see
A job she would love
And with nature she be.

But alas something happened
A great job came along
Who’s pay was quite awesome
And made her sing a new song

So now here we see
And its so shocking to me
Her friends say can it be?
Yes, she now owns an SUV!
