Farm sitting again and I think I've reached a new level of ridiculousness...if that's not a word, consider it one now...I have watched more TV in the last the 2 days than I have in the last year. Interesting shows none-the-less. I've discovered the documentary channel and also watched some of the great Discovery Channel. I watched too many hours of television about the Dionne quintuplets from the 1930's and the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.
So moving along with my geekness...there is no internet at the house so I walk 1 mile each way (uphill both ways, of course) in the blistering sun with my new $4 straw hat from Kmart to check my email and visit with the guards.
I realized how ridiculous this routine is when for the second day in a row I could not get Tim the Pembroke Corgi to go with me. In fact, when he sees me kick off my Birkenstocks and lace up my Nikes he runs to the basement, jumps on the bed, and quickly pretends he's sleeping. Well...I guess he doesn't like the walk. He may miss this one but once the sun goes down he'll have to join me for the 2.8 mile walk around the lake. Yeah, I'm a bad ass drill sergeant when it comes to walks. Or so Tim would like you to think.
