I’m back home now and I have to say I had a lot of time to think while I was farm sitting. Over the last few days, I cared for 5 horses, 1 pony, 1 goat, 1 sheep, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. I enjoy the group but sometimes have a little too much time to think considering I don't have internet while I’m there.
So this evening I was sweeping the shed row for the zillionth time this week because a sheep and a goat aren’t exactly “tidy” creatures in a barn and I had a thought about the history of a popular children’s game.
I really think ancient sheepherders invented the game of marbles because sweeping up sheep poop really is a challenging game.
With very little effort, you can really make the sheep shit fly!
Oh yeah, and I really think I need life. ;)
