I love new gear!

I just love getting new gear. I finally did it. I broke down and bought some trekking poles. I gave them a little test run yesterday and I have to say I love them!! I bought a set of Leki Makalu Tour AS Trekking poles.


Bring on the slippery down hills! I'm ready now!

I also got some new gaiters but I got the wrong size so I haven't been able to test them out yet. Considering it was cold and rainy yesterday, and my pants ended up getting soaked from the knees down, I'd say I'm going to love my new gaiters. My smaller sized ones should be here by the middle of the week...I'm so excited. And they are a really cool color too! Black and Lichen green!
