As I promised, I now have photos from Callaway Gardens ready for posting....so here you go!
The first real "ooh ahh" part for me was Christmas Tree lane...

They have this really awesome "garden" that seems to continue forever. It is a sort of battle between Jack Frost and the Spring Fairy. Jack Frost pops up and sprinkles frost on all the flowers which makes them turn white and the blooms disappear. Then the Spring Fairy appears and waves her magic wand and makes all the flowers bloom in color. The leaves change to green and blooms from daisies to sunflowers to pansies turn colors right before your eyes! Here is just one example of the Spring Fairy making the garden bloom.

After passing through a snowflake arch each car enters into a magical winter wonderland of hundreds of thousands of lights. This area gave me the same feeling as Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It was incredible. Unfortunately this photo doesn't do it justice but you can sort of see how the lights surround the cars.

This poinsettia arch really shows how detailed some of the displays are at Callaway Gardens. These displays are mostly made with mini bulbs that are very similar to residential lights in size and shape. C-7 bulbs are much larger and don't lend to nearly as much detail. C-7s give better sparkle and when combined with the mini bulbs create incredible depth.

I think I'll break these posts up into a few smaller ones so they will be a little more manageable. I'm afraid I might mix up some photos and make all my readers ask "Did she sleep and blog again?"
Stay tuned!!
