One of my favorite displays at Callaway was the 3D birds. First, we saw a flock of 3D doves suspended from the trees. Really cool effect, if I do say so myself.
Around nearly every corner, it seemed, was a body of water, which allowed for some beautiful reflections and made the lights seem double what was really there. One of my favorites was the 3D swimming swan and cygnets.
Unfortunately it was sometimes difficult to get clear pictures and the next photo is an example of that. But I wanted to include this photo of ice skaters to illustrate the reflection aspect. On this particular lake there were display of all kinds of winter sports.
Then towards the end you entered into Santa's workshop area through this incredible arch.
As I mentioned before the entire route was enhanced with music that is specific to each display area. Some of the sounds are what totally made the display. In this next shot there is an elf pulling the string on a talking doll and the sounds effects are impeccable. You hear the sound of a string being pulled like in those old talking dolls and then see the heartbeat of the doll and hear her say "Mama.Mama."
