Back on Earth...For Now

Yes, I fell off the Earth for a while but I have managed to crawl back on top of this giant rock for an evening. I've been stuck in a stadium storage area for what seems like an eternity.

I did manage to have a fantastic weekend last weekend and went camping on a friend's farm in Peaks Mill...car camping but, hey, it was better than nothing. The farm is beautiful and all day on Saturday Kodie and I spent it hanging out on a hillside. I tended the fire (which I never get to do when boys are around!) and cooked a delicious lunch, listened to birds, read magazines, and generally passed the time. It was spectacular.

Then it was back to work and back to worrying about jumps. Finally that is pretty well put to bed. And, well, as for my mental state of dealing with this project...I'll post my room number at Charter Ridge. Please send bottle caps, purple toothbrushes, and cookies. ;)

Well, Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event begins tomorrow and I'm very glad it is finally here. If you get a chance, come and check it out. Thursday/Friday are Dressage, Saturday is Cross Country, Sunday is Stadium Jumping.

Yes, this Three-Day Event is actually four days because dressage takes longer and there are a lot of horses.

Well, I'd better hang it up for tonight as I have four fun-filled days ahead of me. One day I'll start posting regularly again. Thanks for reading!
