And the heavens opened...

...and finally lowered the hiking boots into my hands. I bowed my head with respect and understanding for the Timberland Cadion Mid XCR Waterproof Hiker for Women.
When I read in Backpacker magazine the the Timberland Cadion was designed for women with a "low volume foot" my eyes about jumped out of my head.

Does that mean skinny-ski-like feet?

I tried them on and fell in love. BUT, they didn't have my size...in January 2007. After several special orders and 8 months, I finally have my Timberland Cadion Mid XCR Waterproof Hiker for Women.

And I don't think I could be any more excited.
