Phillip Galls - CLOSED!

Tragedy!! I just learned that Phillip Galls in Lexington closed. That is so sad. I love shopping local...especially for gear because I often have questions and like to see and touch the items.

Here in Lexington we have two local outfitters...well, we did have two. I always tried to split my purchases between the two considering they each carried different brands that the other didn't. I guess now J&H Lanmark will get all of my business. Although J&H is much closer to my house, it's always sad when a local dealer of over 100 years closes.

It definitely is sad that they closed. I worked for them years ago when the store was in the now closed Lexington Mall. Quest Outdoors is a good place to shop if you're ever up in Louisville. I've picked up a few things there in the past. J&H has a good selection as well, hopefully they'll be able to stay open.
