Back in my room

Finally last night I was able to move back into my bedroom after 5 days of sleeping on the couch. And it feels good to be back.

The window still smells a little but since it hasn't rained in about 3 days it is starting to dry out. Of course I've got new mold on the ceiling where it was leaking but I'll take improvements where I can get them.

I also wrote the letter to my landlord explaining the timeline of the issues in the apartment and their negligence. It also includes the amount of my personal property damaged from the leaks, extra expenses that I've incurred in the last 6 + months, and my inconveniences, such as sleeping on the couch for 5 days. Then it explains that I'm not paying November rent and I'll be out by December 1. And that can't come soon enough.

Actually, November 15 can't come soon enough...that's when I close on my house and I can start taking stuff over there. I'm so excited. Inspection is tomorrow...hope that all goes well...I expect that it will.
