...that I really don't like myself very much during the house hunting process. I much prefer to be optimistic and chipper. And I have not been that lately. My apologies to everyone who has listened to me whine, cry, and grump about houses.

Now now, don't get down on yourself for being human. Buying a house is a HUGE deal and is very stressful. You have every right to feel that stress and act out accordingly. Just remember to remain calm, drink when appropriate, and harm innocents as little as possible. :) It will all be over soon and you'll look back at your "glass half empty" days and laugh. Then, you will cry - because you will not enough money left to make the glass full ever again!
I kid. Thats what I do.
Hang in there. You are doing fine. You have a good head on your shoulders, a strong sense of self, and that sense of humor at your core is unflappable. Don't let a measly real estate purchase get the best of you!

Now stop whining and start laughing again!
