Actually, my dear, your directive assumes that all of your faithful readers are all residents of either Kentucky, Louisiana, or Mississippi, since these were the only states holding gubernatorial elections today....

But of course, we all knew what you really meant; "Go Vote, fellow citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky!".
So rest assured. I, for one, exercised my civic duty today. I helped select a new "goober" for our state!

And, yes, I've wondered the same about the word "gubernatorial" and, yes, I voted for one of the "goobers" too.
