Long Walks and A Cozy Little Nap

The kids have started taking long walks with me around the yard. It's a long walk if you're only 5 or 6 inches tall!   [I've been trying to upload a photo of the kids taking a walk but it doesn't seem to be working.  Check back later.  Maybe it will work soon.]

We spend about 30-45 minutes outside. They're getting more aggressive about foraging but they are still quick to clutch up at the slightest cough, sneeze or motorcycle on the road. They follow me really well now. It took a time or two for them to get the hang of it.  It can be a bit of problem though.  My friend was here tonight to check on them.  We decided he could take them out for their walk while I clean the rearing box.  I took them out and showed him what I normally do but then I couldn't leave.  It seemed no matter how hard we tried to distract them they were focused on chasing me.  Finally Jason had to shield their view of me with his body and I had to RUN to the other side of the yard.  They really crack me up.

I spend a lot of time looking at the kids.  I watch them in the box...they're always very busy these days.  Sometimes I catch them napping...and it is so sweet.
