It's been an equally exciting and rough few days.
Yesterday I learned to make hay. Great big rolled bales that get wrapped by this really cool hay wrapping machine. I learned to rake it and I also learned to the drive the very impressive "deuce and half" military truck. With each trip I hauled 10 bales of hay weighing in at approximately 2000-2200 lbs. Times 10 to get the whole weight that the truck hauled. That's a big-ass truck.
After a very busy, long day of hay making, myself and two friends went out to dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. I ordered the Hausteca and felt like I really deserved it after a long day of hard work.
[OK, so the reason I haven't been posting much lately is because after I get home from the farm, I can't stay awake to do much more than check my email. I'll continue this post when I can keep my eyes open.]

So.... Where does the camel come in with this story? Come on! You can't tease us with tales of wild beasts like that and leave us hanging! We want to know how you escaped death... Did a pack of rabid ungulates corner you in a dark alley somewhere? Did one especially mean critter spit upon you from a surprisingly great distance? Did it have one humps or two? We are all dying for these details!!
