I have just discovered Burgers-Shakes in Lexington, KY. I've lived here 12 years and lived less than a mile from this burger joint 3 different times and I've never walked through the doors. Until today. I had my first burger...no shake...and fries. I'm a fan.
The burger is simple and delicious and the fries were shoestring fries each browned to crispity perfection. It was super fast with cheap and easy packaging...a paper bag.
[Note: This photo was taken off Flickr and Burgers-Shakes are now 84¢. Inflation and the price of gas affects everything. It is still the best deal in town.]

Love this place too! Teresa Issac's cousins own it....I swear. The very first hamberger fast food place in Lex.
