Not knowing what brought all this on left me wondering, "How on earth could the dog have gotten into something awful?" She's with me in the morning, she's with me in the afternoon, and almost always she's with me in the evening.
So last night I was racking my brain trying to figure out how on earth she could have gotten something to make her sick while I was doing yard work. And then I saw it. A pile of Bluejay feathers with no Bluejay. That darn dog.
So I spoke with the vet and they gave me some advice and a time table for when it was appropriate to bring her in. I followed their recommendations and held my breath when I gave her a special bland breakfast.
So here I am waiting for that dreaded "2 hour" window to pass hoping that she will not be ill and we can go to work.
Wish us luck.

So I take it Kodie is doing better? What would a backpacking trip be without her along?
Windigrrl
Yes, thank goodness. It took a little TLC and special diet regime for a few days but she's back to her 'ole self again. And yes, she'll be joining us next weekend as usual. I'm so looking forward to getting in the woods!
