What's Wrong With Him?

I work with a fellow who simply cracks me up.  A while back we were walking in together from the parking lot.  As we approached the building he stopped, gazing into the reflection he found on the doors.

"What?" I asked.

To which he replied, " Sometimes I stop and see myself in the doors and I have to ask What's Wrong With Me?"

I about lost it.  I was like, "What's wrong with you?  What on earth do you mean?"  It made me smile on a regular basis for several days following.

So yesterday I was walking to the parking lot and the same fellow was a fair distance in front of me.  As he was on the brink of stepping from the sidewalk to the lot, he stopped, stared at the ground for quite some time, jostled his body with what appeared to be a hearty laugh, and moved on towards his car.

As I approached the lot, he looked at me and laughed.  Loudly.

I looked around and then down at myself and my dog wondering, "What's Wrong With Me?"

He continued to laugh as he walked over to me while I asked him, "What? What's so funny?  Is there something I don't know?"

In between laughs he said, "I don't know what this means but I just noticed, right now, that I've been wearing two different shoes all day.  What does that mean?  What does that say about me?"

Oh boy.  I then joined his laughter and quickly told him it was something I had to blog about.

So at least yesterday, we discovered What Was Wrong With Him.
