The first camel baby of the season has arrived at the farm! I'm tickled pink with him. Unfortunately mother camel suffered some pretty serious complications, but the vet did give us hope that she'll be able to pull through. The next 7-10 days will be important for her. Baby camel has about 3 days before he's in the clear.
So far baby is doing great but because of mother's complications she can't nurse him right now. Tonight we milked her and bottle fed him colostrum.
I'll try to keep updates on them both.
