#SYTYCD - Jodidthatsme Style

Now that I’ve been Twitterfied I can’t watch SYTYCD on DVR anymore.  I caught the tail end of the live stream on Twitter and about went crazy not knowing what they were talking about…and not being able to throw my two cents into the mix.

So I decided to blog my comments…not that anyone really cares but I still wanted to do it.  These are my thoughts as I’m watching the routine.   Literally, I was typing while looking at the TV.  It’s not dancing but it is a talent!  [I guess]

Phillip & Janine:  Hip Hop

• Freakin’ nailed it.  Dude, white-girl can hip-hop.  What a brilliant routine Napoleon & Tabitha. 

Asuka & Vitolio:  Broadway

• Asuka just shines on stage.  Adorable, Tice.  I don’t think Vitolio matched Auska.

Karla & Jonathan:  Cha Cha

• Dude, rockin’ song.  Lady Gaga.  Great style.  Stop with all the lighting effects.  I want to see the dancing.  I liked what I could see.  I wasn’t screaming but I was so distracted with the lights.

Randi & Evan:  Jazz

• I already love Evan with his pre-performance comments.  Real connection.  I think Evan outshined Randi slightly.  Her hair in her face is driving me crazy.

Paris & Tony: Hip Hop

• Both pretty good.  Paris has more expression.  I also really think I love the Black Eyed Peas.  Why don’t I have any of their stuff?

Caitlin & Jason:  Bollywood

• I love that we have this style on this show!  Gorgeous lift.  Caitlin is precise.  Jason is good but not as sharp.  He has weak arms.  Overall I really enjoyed this!

Janette & Brandon:  Foxtrot

• Maintaining a good hold.  Very expressive.  Effortless.  I like them!  Whoa!  She really did fly in that lift.

Ashley & Kupono:  Jazz

• Crash Test Dummies?  WTF?  Wow, this is going to be very interesting.  Great lines from Kupono.  Super animation from Ashley.  Love it.  Quirky, interesting, and creative.  I love Wade.

Melissa & Ade:  Contemporary

• I like that Melissa is in an environment that she feels “old” at 29.  That was me in college.  “Pic down” – great quote Mandy.  Gorgeous together, they are.  Amazing legs and feet on Melissa.  She is like a spider monkey climbing on him.  He’s a STRONG partner. 

Kayla & Max:  Samba

• OMG, I love Max already.  They are both hot.  Kayla has got the Latin sex appeal in her dance already.  Gorgeous lines, arms, legs.  I hated the music and that surprises me. 

On other notes:

• I want to hate Mary Murphy but she is fabulously annoying.  I just love her!  Loved the Botox comment.  J
