I remember the days of throwing on the closest t-shirt when I was getting ready for bed. Or worse, just rippin' the pants off and sleeping in whatever was left on.
I don't know what it means but those days are over.
I now have pajamas for every season and they are all rated in my mind for comfort, coolness/warmth, and handiness.
For example, I have a shorts & shirt set made of a satiny-silky material that ranks high in the comfort and coolness categories but fails miserably in handiness. With all those darn buttons, it's difficult to put on when I'm tired. I inevitably mismatch the buttons to the button holes and end up with the whole thing whopper-jawed.
I have winter flannel, fall sheer, and summer tanks. I have some that are see through and aren't fit for going out on the deck in and I have some that could just about pass for clothes.
Do you see? Do you see what's happened to me? I'm officially a pajama snob. I'll walk around for an hour looking for the exact pajama set that I'd like to wear. In the meantime, has anyone seen my other shoe?
